First, I want to say thank you to all of the emails, phone calls, texts and in-person love I've gotten from friends, family, colleagues, old coworkers and the like. I appreciate your kind words understand and encouraging sentiments more than I could ever possibly begin to express. I truly am fortunate that I have so many people that care, so thank you. All of you.
That said, operation "get me a new gig" is in full gear. Today was spent making lists, sending emails, calling contacts, texting my favorite partner asking her how life is like back at my former home and time spent looking at my portfolio and wondering "are you good enough to be in here". But, on the bright side at least I got to go running this morning without the pressure of being into work at a certain time.
Tomorrow, I'm hoping to have my camera in hand to capture my new work environment, other characters I'll be meeting and working with that are also victims of Recession 2k9, and the life of an unemployed copywriter. Stay tuned, it should be exciting.
